Launching a wellness startup into a crowded corporate market dominated by well-funded competitors. No obvious differentiator - until you look properly. Need to appeal to both B2B decision-makers and emotionally exhausted end users. Generic wellness positioning was everywhere; standing for nothing was not an option.
A proprietary five-point wellbeing framework - specific, structured, and ownable. Competitors selling solutions; Take 5 could sell guidance. Real emotional white space: clarity and direction in a category full of noise.
Competitive audit revealed all major players led with features and generic outcome claims. Audience research uncovered the real need: not more wellness content, but a framework people could actually follow. Repositioned the five-point model as a guiding philosophy, not a feature list. Developed three emotional brand territories: direction, support, empathy. Created brand voice and messaging connecting functional benefits to emotional outcomes. Built brand architecture to support long-term B2B and B2C growth simultaneously.
Distinctive brand platform with a clear, ownable positioning in the market. Emotionally resonant voice that works for overwhelmed professionals and corporate buyers alike. Brand architecture designed to scale — consistent across all touchpoints. Positioned as the antidote to noise: not more advice, but better guidance.
